Note: This cable is only intended for use with Sound Blaster audio cards, it is not intended for use with other sound cards, or with other devices that use a 4 conductor 1/8" (3.5mm) mini plug, like camcorders or portable DVD players.
Installation
The Sound Blaster Home Theater Cable is easily
installed between your Sound Blaster sound card and your
home theater receiver. Each connector is both color coded
and clearly identified in text with its intended location.
- Power off your computer and your home theater receiver.
- Connect the 1/8" mini plug connections to the Line
Out ports on your Sound Blaster sound card.
- Lime Green to Line Out 1
- Black to Line Out 2
- Orange to Line Out 3
- Connect each of the labeled RCA plugs to the corresponding input on your home theater receiver. Use all available inputs on your receiver.

Configuration
Using the settings applicable to your Sound Blaster model,
enable both Dolby Digital and DTS decoding for your sound
card.
Note: The multichannel inputs on many home theater receivers can only be adjusted for volume level; environmental effects may not be available. You may set any environmental effects desired from the Sound Blaster EAX panel
You're all done! Start up your home theater and computer systems, adjust the volume to your preference, and enjoy the startling realism of Sound Blaster home theatre audio!
